10 Ways to Make Money Online

With the advent of university top-up fees, student life doesn’t come cheap for today’s overworked undergraduates. But the power of the internet offers up a number of ingenious ways to generate some extra beer money from the comfort of your own home. Here are ten of the best.

1. Social networking

It might seem like nothing more than a pipe dream but making money as you trawl through profiles of friends, prospective and ex boyfriends and girlfriends is actually a reality.
Yuwie, an upstart social networking enterprise, offers to pay its users as they increase the page impressions of their public profiles, upload photos to share and refer others to join in the fun. All of this is achieved by a proportionate payment structure that sees around half of the website’s advertising revenue – its chief source of income - distributed directly to its user base.
Admittedly it’s still early days but with around half a million registrations to date and no shortage of testimonials, Yuwie looks like the real deal.

2. Blogging

There are two ways to make cash through blogging: either by earning commission from advertising banners placed alongside a blog of your own or by engaging in the (slightly dubious) practice of “sponsored” blogging. An array of third party tools is available in the case of the former option; Google’s
AdSense remains one of the more popular solutions. Just establish yourself a decent blog, configure the ads and see what happens. Sponsored blogging on the other hand is an altogether more calculated affair, with specialists such as Blogitive and PayPerPost providing a platform through which companies essentially contract bloggers to post favourable content about their products in exchange for cash. Unethical, granted, though nonetheless undoubtedly fruitful for those subtle enough to get away with it.

3. Message boards

Every message board - both small-time niche operation and gargantuan general interest community alike - relies on posts from its members in order to sustain user interest. Newly-created forums are particularly dependent on regular contributions in order to encourage conversations and attract the registration of new members. This, of course, is where you come in. In exchange for a nominal fee of anywhere between £0.01 and £0.10 per post, message board administrators frequently advertise externally for “ringers” to sign up to their endeavours and get the ball rolling. Popular recruiting grounds include
webmaster-talk and Digital Point.

4. Stock photography

If you’ve a keen eye for an impressive frame, or even just some half-decent camera kit at your disposal, selling pictures to any one of the plethora of stock photography agencies scattered across the web represents a sure-fire method of generating an income online. The likes of iStockPhoto and Fotolia offer budding photographers the incentive of earning potentially significant sums for their snaps on a per-download basis in exchange for their other royalty payment rights. Predictably, the most sought-after depictions are of a fairly mundane nature – think three-quarter view angles of pretty women dressed in suits – though equally inevitable is the high demand in some quarters for photographs of an altogether more risqué nature…

5. Surveys

As inglorious a means of making money online as you’re ever likely to find, completing market research surveys for cash is time-consuming, invasive and very, very dull. It also happens to be very effective. Opportunities in this field are virtually endless too, with literally thousands of research groups vying for your time and attention. Perhaps the most well known of these is
YouGov, whose methodology involves obtaining responses from an invited group of internet users at prices ranging from £0.50 to £2.00 per survey completed. Registration is free and relatively painless, though if you are planning on going down this route, you would do well to create another email account solely for the purpose of survey completion – your personal details are going to be getting bandied around an awful lot.

6. Games

Believe it or not, it is possible to make money simply by playing computer games.
Second Life, one of a range of so-called massively multi-player online games, allows users to both buy in-game currency called Linden dollars (a name derived from its creator, Linden Labs) and later exchange any amount amassed within the game back into real-world funds. Ailin Graef made the headlines in 2006 having claimed that her in-game avatar, Anshe Chung, had generated enough resources to allow her to be classified as a millionaire in reality. Other prospects include Moola, which claims to pay players over five million pounds for the straightforward task of winning thirty of its games in a row. Perhaps tellingly, the grand prize is yet to be claimed.

7. Freelancing

If you have a talent – be it for writing, graphic design or even programming - online freelancing will allow you to exploit it for a handsome profit. Services such as
Elance and oDesk advertise outsourced remote working opportunities on behalf of thousands of companies and allow members to sign up to assignments according to their desired criteria. Naturally, there’s a catch - said services also take a cut of up to 15 per cent of your potential earnings. Depending on your skills and availability though, there is a lot of money to be made in this fashion, with the fastest-growing fields - like document translation - paying the best rates.

8. Poker

Likely the most controversial inclusion in this list, the online poker world is awash with sob stories of empty wallets and broken dreams from people of all walks of life who just didn’t know when to quit. If you feel like having a go at making some big bucks through gambling, extreme caution is urged. Quite apart from the fact that players need a fair degree of skill in the game to get anywhere, starting small is crucial – only bet what you can afford to lose with a smile. If you are skilled - and lucky - the potential rewards are vast, with some players regularly earning in excess of £1,000 per day. But, remember, the pitfalls are even greater. Texas Hold ‘Em is by far the most popular variant of the game – get some free practice via
MSN Games.

9. Selling

A method as old as the internet itself, hawking wares through virtual auctions and shops provides a quick income boost for many students, enabling unwanted Christmas to be disposed of with ease. The obvious starting points are
eBay and Amazon Marketplace , though classifieds websites such as Ad Trader are proving increasingly popular. Those of you looking to secure revenue on a more long-term basis will need to source in-demand products and be able to sell them at a mark-up on the price that you yourself paid. One example is “vintage” clothing – cheap clothes with retro appeal are available in abundance at charity shops and can easily be sold to other fashionable students online at a higher price.

10. Doing something crazy

Most truly spectacular success stories of making money online don’t involve any of the aforementioned routes at all. Instead, they showcase brazen opportunism that flies in the face of all logic and reason. Take Alex Tew’s
MillionDollarHomepage from 2005 for instance – a website set up with the sole intention of selling pixels at one US dollar apiece to advertisers in order to fund its proprietor’s university degree. On paper it was a ludicrous concept – of course it was - but a 21 year-old Tew soon found himself a certified millionaire. So too did the founders of Doggles, an internet business devoted to selling goggles… for dogs. The point is that, just as in the “real” world, originality paired with good business acumen may potentially reap far greater rewards than any supposedly tried-and-true method of generating cash that you might care to mention. So be creative.

How To Make Money On Pay Per Click

Pay per click

What is it?
Pay per click or banner advertising is an opportunity available for website owners to make money by making use of your website traffic. You find these banners displayed on almost every website you see. Your sponsor will supply the banner and HTML code to paste on your page. You receive payment for each person who clicks their banner which you place on your website. The advantage is that you make money whether or not the person you refer purchases or not. The disadvantages is, they only really work for the big sites with huge traffic.

Average pay-per-click pays between $0.05 to $0.20 per click from your website, some increase the commission as your traffic increases. Checks are usually sent out, after you have accumulated certain amount in commissions. You can usually change this to your prefered amounts.

How much money can you make?

So how much money you can make from this program? It's depends on variety of variables. Obviously, the more visitors you have, the more impressions the banners will get, thus more click throughs, and more money you'll make. To increase click through rate, you have to target your banner to your audience's demographics. If your site is about travelling, you will get more click through by displaying travelling related banners. Untargeted banner usually have lower click-through ratios.

The table below is an example of your potential earnings. Remember, on the Internet, you can make money 7 days a week, 24 hours a day... Even while you sleep. However, remember that these figures are, just mathematical examples of what is possible. It is no way quaranteed earnings.

Click Agents (Formerly Shout-Ads)

Click Agents supports low traffic sites. You can earn up to 20 cents per click depends on your click through rate. They have raised the payment rate to 10 cents per click to all host sites as of February 1st 99. They will also introduce premium rates of 12 and 15 cents to pages that get a high amount of daily impressions. When you refer a new member, you get 10% of their credits.

You have to own an English language website in order to join. Banners are rotated automatically. Checks are sent out when they reach US $25 or sterling equivalent, you can change this to a larger amount. You can also participate in their banner exchange program. Your banner will be displayed on their network, seven times for every ten exchange banners that you display. You can join both pay-per-click and banner exchange program at the same time. You can check your statistics any time.

Make Money With Online Auctions

This article is intended to teach you step by step how to get started and more importantly, make money with online auctions. We will teach you how to start a home based online auction business. Please leave us comments, questions, or success stories so that we can improve this guide.

Earning money from online auctions is one of the best ways to get started with your own home based business. It's one of the easiest home businesses to start, maintain, and earn a profit with. In fact almost anyone can do it, even teenagers! The concept is simple; buy a product cheap and sell it for a higher price. Think of it like having a neighborhood yards sale, you can sell old items that are just laying around the house or forgotten about in your attic. You can find unused items from your neighbors and friends, or buy a product online for cheap.

Does that mean that anyone can make money online? Well, yes in fact over $44.3 billion in gross merchandise has been sold through eBay last year alone. If you consider all of the other online auction sites like
Half.com, uBid.com, ShopGoodWill.com etc. you can imagine why making money with online auctions has quickly become one of the most profitable business models available.
So, ask yourself this question; "How would you like to earn over $27,000 this year working from home"? Sounds pretty good right? O. K. now consider that $27,500 per year is only 0.001% of the $27.5 Billion sold through PayPal using eBay last year. While it's important to set realistic goals, be sure not to "sell" yourself short. Imagine making 0.01% of that $27.5 Billion. That equals $275,000 per year and that is only 0.01% of the online auction sales.

So, how can you start making money with online auctions? Well, the first step is to realize that the only person that can make it happen is you. Once you are motivated to start making money with auctions, read as much information as you can. The more you know the more money you will make.

For the purpose of keeping the business concept simple, we will concentrate only on eBay (the largest online auction site). However, as you become more proficient in online auctions be sure to expand your arena and try some other online auctions as well.

What you will need to get started:

1.A credit card, debit card, or other pre-paid card
2.Computer and Internet Access
3.Product - Buy low and sell high
4.A few hours a day
5.A quite work environment

If you are not familiar with eBay, now would be a good time to go look at their site. It's easy to understand even though at first glance in may appear a little cluttered. You can sell anything you can imagine here. For example, a couple from colorado recently sold real snow from the last snow storm. So, your imagination is your only limitation and remember that one person's junk is another person's treasure.

Obviously, getting the product at a low price and selling for a high price is the "meat and potatoes" of this business and is also the most complicated part. There are a number of wholesale warehouse that sell items for the specific purpose of allowing you to resell the products on online auctions. Often you can find items for sale with up to an 80% discount.

If all of this seems a little overwhelming, you might want to check out www.bidfuel.com. The site is designed to streamline the process of selling items on ebay and include an exclusive member warehouse and ebay auction wizard (it makes the auctions for you!) All you have to do is select which items to sell, and an auction template is made. The product is then directly shipped to your customer once they make a purchase. You don't have to manage any inventory either, it's all done for you. For a limited time bid fuel is offering free service and an ebay power user's bible. Start your journey and make money with online auctions.

Make Money with eBook Marketing

Cash In on The Information Wave

This article is intended to teach you step by step how to get started and more importantly, make money with ebook marketing. We will teach you how to start making money with ebooks. Please leave us comments, questions, or success stories so that we can improve this guide.

An ebook, as defined by Wikipedia, is "an electronic (or digital) equivalent of a conventional printed book." As the internet becomes more and more popular, so to does the transmission of digital information such as ebooks. Naturally, most of us want to find a way to profit from this new trend. If you are one of these people who are looking to make money with ebooks, you have come to the right place.

Understanding and mastering these six areas of an eBay auction are absolutely essential to maximize the success and profitability of your auctions.

There are three basic ways to make money with ebooks. Writing your own ebooks, selling someone else's ebooks, or both.

Writing Your Own ebook - First, let's take a look at writing your own ebooks. It's not all that difficult and if you have ever written an essay for a school assignment you have all the prerequisites already. You don't have to be an expert on your ebook subject, although it helps, as most information can be found online and in your local library. You don't even have to be a good writer as most word processors have grammar and spell checking tools.

So, once you decide that you want to write your own ebook, you need to find a "niche" market or subject to write about. The more specific you make your ebook, the better it will sell.

Your next step is to complete an outline and table of contents. Having an outline will help you organize your thoughts and ensure that your new ebook flows well and keeps the reader focused. Once your initial outline is done (you can modify it as you go) you need to start your research. Get a pen and paper and spend several hours researching web sites related to each and every chapter of your ebook. Taking notes with a pen and paper will help ensure that you do not run into plagiarism issues. Be sure to spend a few hours in your local library as well. Research is one of the most important steps, even if you consider yourself an expert on your topic.

Once your research is completed, you are ready to begin writing. Use your outline to keep your efforts organized and on topic. Start with a rough draft and then get your friends and family to proof read it. Never do your one proof reading and editing!

Once your ebook is written, ad some nice graphics and a cover page. Compile the ebook into an ebook format (I suggest pdf) and you are finished. You should not have a unique and original ebook that you can sell.

Selling Someone Else's ebooks - Many of us don't have the "author" bug in us and the prospect of writing our own ebook reminds us of visiting the dentist. Do not fear, there are literally thousands of authors out there that need help selling there ebooks.

Selling ebooks is just another off-shoot of affiliate marketing. Sign up with an number of affiliate programs and sell the ebooks you want using your own website, email lists, or even word of mouth. Many people make their living selling ebooks using affiliate programs. You can read more about
making money with affiliate marketing here.

Writing and Selling Your One ebook - This is actually a lot harder that people think. Most of us are good at writing or marketing, very few of us are good at both. However, if you feel you can handle both roles you can make even more money.

Use the section above to write your own ebook. Read out
affiliate marketing section to better understand how affiliates work. Then, sign up as an advertiser with any number of affiliate programs.

As an advertiser, you tell the affiliate networks what price you want your new ebook sold for and what commission you want to offer your affiliates. In addition, you will want to make your own landing pages for your ebook so that your affiliates can send new customers to your ebook. You can read more about
making a website here.

Obviously, this guide is designed to provide you with the basics to get started. Please let us know if you would like any additional information added or feel free to leave a comment below. We truly want to ensure that you make money with ebooks.

Make Money with Paid Surveys

The Cold Hard Truth

The concept of paid surveys has been around for a long time. Some even say that marketing companies began using paid surveys as early as 1856. Only recently however, with the advent of home computers and the increase in home businesses, have paid surveys come back into the "lime-light" as a way to make money.

Most likely you are reading this because you want to know if you can you get paid to take online surveys. The simple answer is "Yes". Marketing companies or firms will pay participants to answer questions via surveys. They then resell the data they collect to larger companies looking to invest in a new marketing plan or ad campaign.

So your next question is most likely, how much can I make, or can I make enough money to live off of? Well, the answer is "No". The simple, cold hard truth is that nobody has ever become rich from completing surveys. In fact, most hard-core survey participants make enough to cover their power bill or a trip to McDonald's once or twice a week at best. Lets face it, if you could get rich taking survey's I would be completing one myself vs. telling you about them. However, legitimate paid surveys are NOT a waste of time and can be a good source of supplemental income.

Let me explain how modern paid surveys work and then you can decide for yourself if participating in paid surveys is right for you.

There are companies and corporations that spend billions of dollars every year in advertising. You see their ads on TV, hear them on the radio and even get them on your cell phones. Obviously, these companies make money by "convincing" you to buy a product through these ads. How do they know what will make money for them and what? Good question, because they don't know. Some companies will try sample ads to a select population and then monitor their results before ramping up to a full scale ad campaign. Other companies will hire a marketing firm before launching an ad campaign in order to get the best information on domestic trends, user habits and interests. Once a company hires a marketing firm, the firm will then collect data from a select populace using web site traffic results, TV ad results and yes...even paid surveys.

By completing a paid survey, you are offering information about yourself: your habits, opinions, likes and dislikes to the marketing firm. That firm will sell your information to another company that will in turn try to sell a product back to you via an ad somewhere.

So, back to the point; Is participating in an online survey worth your time? If you are unemployed and looking for a job, or employed and still have some free time, then participating in paid surveys might be for you. Marketing firms will collect information about you when you sign up and then use that data to match you with current or future survey needs. If you are selected to participate in a survey, you will be notified and given a link via email that will point you to the survey. Four to Six weeks later you will get a check in the mail for your participation.

Surveys are a great way to make an extra $25 to $50 a week in your spare time or after a long day of job hunting. If you are disabled, or a stay at home mom surveys will work well for you too. You can multiply the number of surveys you are selected for by signing up with multiple marketing firms possibly earning $100 to $150 a week. Just be sure to do something productive between each participation letter you get.

If you think paid surveys are for you, there are a number of legitimate paid survey companies available. For every legitimate paid survey company however, there are a dozen scams. Our next guides will delve more into how to recognize paid survey scams and which companies we suggest using. In the meantime, if you want to make an easy buck or two, get paid to take surveys

Make Money with Affiliate Programs

Turn Web Traffic To Cash

This article is intended to teach you step by step how to get started and more importantly, make money using affiliate marketing. We will teach you how to start a home based affiliate business. Please leave us comments, questions, or success stories so that we can improve this guide. You will find other affiliate related guides and articles on the lower section of this page.

What is affiliate marketing? "Affiliate Marketing" is a popular method of promoting web businesses in which you (the affiliate) are rewarded for every visitor, subscriber and/or customer provided through your efforts, much like the practice of paying finder's-fees for the introduction of new clients to a business. Compensation may be made based on a certain value for each visit (Pay per click), registrant (Pay per lead), or a commission for each customer or sale (Pay per Sale), or any combination of the three.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the best ways to make money online because there is little to no scamming or fraud. In fact, many home based affiliate business owners rely on affiliate marketing for their entire income.

First, let's take a look at the overall concept of Affiliate Marketing. The process starts when a company has a successful product to offer. The company will build a web site and offer that product to the consumer (or internet user). The next hurdle the company has to overcome is getting web traffic to their site. After all, they can have a kick-butt product but if nobody knows about it, they won't make a dime.

This is where you, the affiliate marketer comes into play. As an affiliate you will have or build a web site that generates traffic and then "refer" part of that traffic to a partner company. The program works well for both the company selling the product and the affiliate because both parties make money in the process and each helps the other become more successful.

For the purpose of this article and the goal of assisting you to make money with Affiliate Programs, we will only be looking at the Cost Per Lead (C.P.L.) commission structure. A C.P.L. program is advantageous because you simply need to convince your traffic to provide their information to your partner company.

Cost Per Lead:

A cost per lead affiliate program will pay for each person or "lead" that is referred to your partner's web site. A Lead is any personal information that a visitor submits to a company for the purpose of allowing the company to solicit their product or services.

Here is a rough example: Let's say that a company offering a "make money with affiliate marketing ebook" makes an average of $40.00 profit from each sale made on their web site. They know, based off of web site statistics and sales, that one in four customers will buy their product or "convert" as it is commonly referred to. They can then offer an affiliate a certain amount of money (we will use $16.00 for our example) for each person they refer to their web site that generates a lead.

So, if an affiliate gets 100 people each month to click on an ad and fill in their information on the company's web site they would make $1600.00. The company would have made $4,000 from the referrals and it will have only cost them the $1600.00. Again, both the company and the affiliate succeed in with this method because the company has extra sales it would not have had without the home based affiliate business and the affiliate gets paid for a product they do not manage or own.

Now, I don't know about you but as for myself, I don't mind having an extra $1600.00 each month from a website that maintains itself. Now, imagine having 10 web sites that all do the same thing for different affiliate programs.

Can anyone make money as an affiliate? Well, yes all you really need is determination and dedication. Use our building a web site guides and start making money with affiliate programs today.

How to Make Money With Amazon.com

You've probably heard before a lot of hype about how much money you can make with affiliate programs. Maybe you've even set up a site yourself, only to find that after buying the domain, a few bucks a month in hosting, software or a web designer to design your site, etc., that the piddly affiliate fees hardly even covered your cost. Well, here's the hype-free way to really make money with an Amazon.com affiliate site. And it'll only take a day to make the site. The secret? Low cost, low effort.

Difficulty: Hard

Time Required: One day

  • 1.If you don't already know it, learn some basic HTML. You have to do this to keep your costs down and still get what you want. Even if the site is basically laid out for you, you're going to need to know how to insert images, create hyperlinks, and do some basic text formatting. Our HTML Guide offers a free 10-week HTML class and a great collection of beginning HTML tutorials. Get over any anxiety you have about this. Just do it. You'll thank me for it later.

  • 2.Decide on your topic. You're going to be doing product reviews and recommendations, so pick a topic that you enjoy and know something about. If you can't stay passionate about the topic, that will show, and it also won't hold your interest. Choose a narrow enough niche to be distinctive, e.g., bands from your city, left-handed guitarists, music for a certain kind of dancing, authors of a certain religion, books about arts & crafts, etc.

  • 3.Choose your domain name. Make it keyword-rich, not clever. Think how people will find your site in the search engines. Here are some ideas (all available when I first wrote this, though a cfew have been snatched up):Music: BandsFromTexas.com, BandOutOfBoston.com, SouthpawGuitarists.com, ClassicPsychedelia.com, Non-Stop-Hip-Hop.com, Merengue-Music.comBooks: Mormon-Authors.com, Arts-and-Crafts-Books.com, Books-by-Stephen-King.com, ClassicBusinessBooks.comOthers: Best-Baby-Toys.com, MomsMags.com, FelliniMovies.com

  • 4.Register your domain name. If you're not technically inclined at all, register your domain wherever you set up your hosting in step 5. Otherwise, you can save a few bucks by choosing a lower-cost provider. Not a big deal for one or two sites, but it can be for ten or twenty. I use GoDaddy, who have great domain management tools and are less than $10 a year. The least expensive I've found from a reputable source is 1&1, whose price is around $7 a year last I checked.

  • 5.Set up your web hosting. This is where most people get burned. For this kind of site, you do not need $10 a month web hosting! Our Online Business Guide has a list of Cheap Web Hosting for Under $10. Some are as little as $4 a month, with unlimited domains, i.e., you can run several sites like this on the same hosting package.

6.Install blog software. "Blog, you say?" Yes. It will give your site all the structure you need, plus make it easy to quickly post new content. My pick is WordPress, which is open source (i.e., free), easy to install and use, and yet very powerful. Many hosts have a one-step installation process for it, or you can download it and follow their installation instructions.

  • 7.Make it pretty. One of the great things about WordPress is the huge variety of templates available for it -- they can completely change the look-and-feel. Our Weblogs Guide has a list of 5 Sites for Free Wordpress Themes, where you can find hundreds of free WordPress themes.

  • 8.Set up categories. Most blog software allows you to create sub-categories to help organize your entries. This will help visitors narrow in even more specifically on their interests. For example, BandsFromTexas.com might have one group of categories for genre — rock, country, blues, etc. — and another for city of origin — Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, etc.

  • 9.Sign up as an Amazon Associate. It's simple and free. Just visit Amazon and click on the Join Associates link at the bottom of the page (here's a direct link for your convenience). Your site should already have at least the basic setup done, even if you don't have any content there yet, as they'll review the site manually before approval.

  • 10.Create your blog posting bookmarks/links. There are two links that are going to be essential for you to make this easy. First is the blog posting link. In your blog software, on the posting page (see their instructions), at the bottom of the page there should be a "bookmarklet". Click on the link (and hold the mouse) and drag it up to your Links toolbar in your browser (assuming Internet Explorer), or your Favorites menu. This will allow you to blog a product with one mouse click.

  • 11.Create your Amazon Build-A-Link bookmark/link. This will make it easy to build the link with your affiliate ID built in. Log in to Associates Central, look in the left navigation sidebar, go to Build-A-Link, and under Static Links, find Individual Items. Click and drag this onto your Links toolbar or Favorites menu.

  • 12.Build your first link. Go to Amazon and log in with your Associates account. Find the product you want to review and use the Site Stripe (gray stripe at the top of the screen that you'll see when logged in as an Associate) to get your personalized link to the item. They also offer a variety of other options for creating links and banners.

  • 13.Blog your review. Now click on your blog posting link (Press It! by default in WordPress). If you're using WordPress, you should now see two pieces of link code in your posting form, the first one ending with "Associates Build-A-Link >< /a >". Delete through that point. The second part is a link to the product with your Amazon Associate ID built in. Now just write your product review, choose the appropriate categories for it, and hit Publish.

  • 14.Build out your site. Before you promote your site, you want to have some substantial content there. Write several product reviews. Have at least 2-3 in each category you've created. You may also want to make a categories for articles, news, and commentary about your topic. The more content your site has, the better. And the great thing is that while you're writing all this, the search engines are getting notified automatically, assuming you turned on the notifications mentioned in step 6.

  • 15.Promote your site. The best free way to do this is to communicate with other bloggers writing about similar topics, and to participate in online communities where your topic is discussed.

  • 1.You have to learn some basic HTML and basic concepts about running a web site. It's just not that hard. If you have to rely on purchased software, you won't be able to get exactly what you want, you won't know what to do when things go wrong, and you'll end up spending money you don't need to. Spend the time to learn it. It will be well worth the investment.

  • 2.I slightly recommend music over books and other products, mainly because you can listen to the clips of an entire album in about 10 minutes and get a good enough feel for it (without buying it) to do a short review. If you have another topic that you're passionate about, great, but make sure you have a unique angle on the topic. People can get reviews about a lot of those consumer products anywhere. You need to give them a reason to come to your site.

  • 3.To pick up some extra pennies, sign up for Google AdSense. It probably won't generate a lot of revenue, but it's free to sign up and completely effortless to maintain.

  • 4.Set reasonable expectations for earnings. You've only invested $20. You're going to make 5% on most products. That means that you need to sell $400 worth of stuff to make back your investment. To make $20 an hour, what you write must generate $400 worth of purchases. You get credit for other purchases customers you send make while at Amazon besides just the product you linked to, so it's not as hard as it may sound. It won't make you rich, but it's not hard to be profitable, and it builds over time.

What You Need:

  • A credit card with about $20 available

How To Make Money With PLR Products

In your quest to find new opportunities to make money online, you may have come across this strange abbreviation: PLR. You probably didn’t have the time to go into more details, so you skipped it and forgot about it in the next two minutes. Well, you overlooked a good way of making money online without having to pay expensive copywriters and web designers work for you.

PLR stands for Private Label Rights, and it means that once you bought a certain PLR product, you also bought additional rights, like the right to resell it (be it at a recommended price, or at your desired one), or the right to offer it for free to your readers, or the right to replace the author’s name with yours and sell it as if it was written by you directly.

What Products Can Be PLR Products?

PLR products can be e-books, reports, software, niche site headers, website templates… anything. Depending on their complexity, the price of Private Label Rights Products can be anywhere between $5 and $500, or $5000, or whatever price their author wants.

Just imagine: you are running a blog about gardening and your goal is to build a list of subscribers, so you can send them information and news from the gardening field (or to tell them about cool new gardening products which they would be able to buy via your affiliate link, granting you a small commission for your work). Now, you want to give an incentive for readers who take the time to join your mailing list: an e-book about growing cucumbers. Let’s suppose you know how to grow great cucumbers, but you don’t have the time to write this book, nor the skills to make it attractive. You’d have to pay a ghost writer to do it for you, and this may cost you some $400-$500. You pay the amount, you get the book, and you estimate that you’d need a certain amount of readers to buy the stuff you sell, in order to break even.

What if you could have the same e-book, as a PLR product, for only $27? It sounds better already, isn’t it?

What if, instead of giving the PLR book away for free, you decide to resell it at the $27 price? At the first buyer you get your investment back, and everything that follows is pure profit, money that enters your PayPal account immediately, without you having to wait until the end of the month or the end of the next month (as you do when you work with affiliate networks).

Where To Get PLR Products From?

  • Option 1: Search the net for “my desired type of products” + PLR (or Private Label Rights, or reseller rights)Chances are that you’ll discover some good PLR products in that niche, and you’ll buy them one by one, at their given price. If I were you, I’d also search for “that PLR product” + coupon (or discount), to see if I can get it any cheaper.

  • Option 2: Join a PLR membership site and get instant access to hundreds of PLR products which you can use as stated by the membership site owners. You remain a member only as long as you wish. Nobody asks you to commit for more than you’d want to. As log as you are a member, each month you’ll have new PLR products added for you to download and use. When you decide that you no longer need the membership, you just cancel it, and you preserve the private label rights for all products you’ve downloaded during your membership period. So, you can stay as a member for 3-4 months, download everything, then use it as you need, whenever you need.

It’s obvious that if you are into several niches, option 2 is the way to go, as it is much more cost effective than option 1. Besides, PLR membership sites have a good habit to offer their members products for personal use, which could help them a lot in their work (like video recording and publishing software, keyword research software, or other internet marketing tools).

How To Find Good PLR Membership Sites?

I’m using PLR products since a couple of years ago and I’m making good money with them. Some of these products are private label rights articles I downloaded in bulk from PLR sites I’m a member of. When I need fresh content for my niche sites, I simply browse my articles collection, choose the ones on the topic I need and rewrite them. PLR give you the right to change the articles in any way you wish and publish them under your name.

Over the next few weeks, I’m going to review several PLR membership sites, so you can make an informed choice, in case you decide to try this method to make money online.

Stay tuned, I’m preparing a surprise for you, which will hopefully fill your pockets without emptying them first.
